Mildly Bumpy, Symmetrical Breast Yes it can be normal and I have what they call "cluster lumps" in both of my breasts which are also common in women. However when I dis…covered these little bumps (cysts) I went to my doctor to let him do a more thorough exam and then I go for my mammogram every year just to be sure everything is A-OK.
Why do women get breast implants Do they get them for self esteem or do they get them for attention?
Answer Some do it out of vanity others because they lost breast to cancer others because they are not happy with the size they have and yes some for attention. Y…et after they do get them they realize that that is all men look for in them.
The Importance of Breast Examinations . Breast examination is a way in which early changes can be detected, as survival chances are excellent if cancers are detected early.… Self-examination should be done monthly, just after a period. If you would like to learn how to do this, see the Web Link to the left. This should not replace examination by a doctor, which should be done yearly for women over 40, and three-yearly before this. These checks may need to be more frequent if you have significant risk factors, so ask your doctor how often it should be performed. Self examination should also not replace mammograms as lumps can be easily missed while some types of cancer will not show up as a lump.
No. Hormones and DNA determine breast size and all people are different so they can not all have small breasts.
Look everyday into the mirror and examine your breasts, see if there are any visible changes, few women's breasts are symmetrical, that is okay, just look for change. The best… time for the exam is after your period, less tenderness and/or engorgement, do the exam approx. once a month, learn how they feel so you will notice any changes. Perform the exam in the shower, you will be relaxed and the warm soapy water makes the exam easier. Watch for changes in the skin, such as dimpling. See if there is a nipple discharge, particularly if there is blood Begin at 12:00 on the breast using the opposite hand, make small circles with your fingers feeling for anything new or different under the skin, start at the nipple and work your way out to the edge of the breast. Next, do the same thing at 1:00, 2:00, etc, all the way around the breast. Then repeat on the opposite breast. Do not forget that the tail of the breast extends into the axilla or armpit, feel under your arm for any lumps, cysts, lymph nodes, etc. If you feel something new, chances are it is a cyst, but make an appointment for after your period to have your doctor check and make sure everything is okay. Approximately 1:8 women in America will have a diagnosis of Breast Cancer in their lifetime! Early detection is the key to beating this disease! GET YOU ANNUAL MAMMOGRAM, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR FAMILY HAS A HISTORY OF WOMEN WITH BREAST CANCER AT A YOUG AGE! ANNUAL MAMMOGRAMS BEGINNING AT AGE 40 IF NOT SOONER! IT IS RARE, BUT YOUNG WOMEN CAN GET BREAST CANCER, BE AN ADVOCATE FOR YOURSELF, AN ULTRASOUND CAN TELL IF A MASS IS SOLID OR CYSTIC, NOT ALL MASSES ARE CANCER, BUT ONLY A BIOPSY CAN TELL THE DIFFERENCE! DIGITAL MAMMOGRAMS ARE MORE SENSITIVE AND ARE BETTER AT DETECTING A MASS THAN CONVENTIONAL MAMMOGRAMS, FIND OUT IF YOUR LOCAL HOSPITAL HAS A DIGITAL MACHINE, IF NOT INSIST YOUR DOCTOR SEND TO A PLACE THAT DOES! THIS IS OF PARTICULAR IMPORTANCE TO WOMEN WHO HAVE VERY DENSE BREASTS!
breast exam should be done every three months, let your health be your priority check your deodorant if its contains alluminium ziconnium, it causes cancer and the nearest pla…ce to your armpit is the breast! Which result to breast cancer.
i had a chiropractor tell me he could give breast exams. but he could have been lying.
There is no reason women "shouldn't"; she has the right to do whatever she pleases to her body.
For women: Breast self exams 20-25 or so, men can begin testicular self exams around 15-20 although testicular cancer is very rare and usually not detected through self exams.…
By your self by rubbing them and if you have a lump then you go to the doctor.
every two months
To conduct a self-exam for breast cancer, the person should lie on a bed with the arm of the side of the breast being checked raised to above your head. The person should then… proceed to start from the center and press down on the breast with the fingertips and spiral out from there at short intervals to check for lumps. When done, repeat on the other side. The person should then stand up and face the mirror and visually check the breasts for any odd asymmetries, puckering or leakage from the nipples (assuming one is not currently breastfeeding). Any lumps or atypical appearances should be noted and a physician should be consulted to conduct additional tests.
