Well they were being crabs. This is because Homer was meant to take moe fishing for his birthday, but knowing homer, he forgot, and moe was waiting outside homers house. homer returns to the house but ducks down while driving, so it makes it look like he is not there. Moe says " oh heres' Homer, Oh no wait, its just his car" and the car drives right past him. Then they creep into the house. Moe is still outside waiting for Homer. They all have to duck down and be crabs, otherwise moe will see. Then moe throws a brick inside the window. he calls homer a "pussbag" and then moe sings happy birthday to himself. he starts to cry. Lisa takes pitty on him, and the story goes on from there. Hope this helps SimpsonsFreak
