They both have nukes, so we would all be dead. But excluding nukes, russia have a lot more men than Britain so id say Russia

If they fought a limited war it could go either way, depending on the circumstances, but I have trouble envisioning a limited war with nukes. Once the first nuke is detonated, it will probably lead to more nukes, with no limits, and no winners.

Well Afganistan is a pretty big place so you would need a lot of nukes. That would cause unbelievable damage to the environment for years to come. Of course you might want to consider how many innocent men, women and children would be killed in such an attack and who might then decide to attack us before we attacked them as well.
