∙ 12y agoa hand cranked version of an electric dryer was created in 1799 by a frenchmen named pochon and as u can see it wasnt American George T. Sampson but anyways electric tumble dryers starting appearing in the 20th century
yes it was made in the twentieth century but it was not invented by that person it was invented by Brooks Stevens he was the one who made a dryer with a glass window

It was not available on the market until 1908, when the Hurley Machine Company of Chicago released Alva J. Fisher's "Thor".
