White light is made up of three colours; red, green and blue. If the shirt appears blue, then the shirt has absorbed any other colours (green and red) and reflected the blue, making the shirt appear blue.
I hope this has helped :)
Well, why do you call it a red shirt ? Could it be because it absorbs all colors of light except red, so that when white light shines on it, all colors except red soak into the shirt, and red is the only light left to travel from the shirt to your eye ? If that is so, then what happens if no red light shines on the shirt ? Is there any light left to travel to your eye ? No ? Well then, what color do you see if no light travels from the shirt to your eye ? I hope Socrates would be proud.
Yellow-green, or lime.
i think it is green. Yeah
a fooler shirt
no colors is absorbed by a black shirt but instead it reflects all the colors in the spectrum of light while white shirt absorbs all the color in the spectrum of light.

When light hits a surface, some 'colors' are absorbed while others are reflected. The reflected colors are the ones you see. A red shirt absorbs all light except red which the red shirt reflects. A shirt that looks white reflects all light and absorbs none. A shirt that looks black absorbs all light and reflects none. this is why a white shirt will keep you cooler on a hot day.
i think it is green. Yeah
white, blue or light pink
Light is just radiation bouncing off objects that comes back to us as colour. For example, a black shirt looks black because it absorbs most of the light's radiation and a white shirt looks white because the light's radiation bounces off the white.

I would where a white shirt and black jacket. If you don't like how that looks, I would go with a plain black shirt.
When beams of light strike a surface, part of the light is often absorbed. The surface may also absorb some colors and reflect others. For example, a red shirt reflects red light but absorbs all the other colors in the spectrum. In other words, the shirt looks red because we see red light reflected from its surface.
