It is legal in some countries, e.g. in Amsterdam
There is some debate as to whether it should be made legal in many other countries. It is used legally for medical purposes on a state level in 14 U.S. states
as soon as government realizes as a whole that the voters already decided this issue!
IT is legal in Mexico know everywhere in Mexico
Everybody thinks marijuana will be legal within the next 10 years, but then again, everybody use to think that in the 60s and 70s as well.. In my opinion it won't be legal at least not in our lifetime, the government makes a lot of money off of it being illegal, busting dealers/ small timers putting them in jail etc, and are too stubborn to see the good in it..
Never! The government makes more money from putting people in jail for posession than they would if it were legal to smoke....SORRY
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO TAX IT?
its not all about SMOKING marijuana, the more important use is hemp, stronger and more durable than cotton, it can be used for medical purposes (which is the worlds most natural medical plant that can treat more medical problems than any other drug in the world!!), and can be used for bio-fumes, which is way more useful and efficient than nuclear and other hazardous energy sources, that are already harming this world..
When you become presendent..lol You got my Vote!
in all honesty, there is a long while before its LEGAL...if ever. it'll be medical in every state within the next 5 years. but to legalize it completely would be a tough one. like the last person to answer says...when you become president...so you have 2 votes :))
As soon as it is brought to a vote by the People of the US. California, and several other states are putting some form of decriminalization measures to the People, on their state ballots THIS YEAR (2010).
Well I don't know for sure since I don't live in us but I've heard that you can get some sort of card wich makes it legal to use marijuana in California and I think they have the same system in New Jersey but I'm not sure
also sorry for the bad English I'm Danish
Currently, 23 states have legalized medical marijuana, as well as the Czech Republic, Finland (but it's very strict and hard to get into the program), and Canada. The UK may hop on board to medical marijuana, however that is unsure. They have been researching it as of late, so keep your eyes open for that! Who knows for sure when it will be legalized, or if it even will be! Only time can tell at this point. However, it does happen at a relatively quick speed!
I sure hope so. It was a 14.4 billion dollar buisness in America before it was criminalized.
Yes it was legalized May 26th, 2009.
I doubt it
Marijuana has not been fully legalized in British Columbia. It has been partially decriminalized for medical use as of 2008.
because people in California are stupid
None, unless you have a license. Even then, you can only get a license (And grow) in states that have legalized medical Marijuana and the Marijuana can only supply medical Marijuana dispensaries.
Georgia has not legalized marijuana, and there is currently no initiative to. Currently, it is only legalized for medicinal purposes - if a doctor prescribes you medicinal marijuana.

There is no such thing as a medical marijuana "study trial" patient. If you live in a state that has legalized marijuana for medical purposes then you need to go to www.weedtracker.com and find a doctor that can write you a recommendation for you. In California at least this is a very common and easy thing to do. The cost is around $100 for a year's recommendation. If you don't live in a state that has legalized marijuana for medical use you should 1) move 2) get it legalized in your state 3) try to start your own "study trial" program. Good luck getting a permit from the DEA though.
Using marijuana is illegitimate in America beneath federal law. But in positive states using it is legitimated only for its therapeutic uses. Legalized non-medical cannabis can also be used in that states. Medical use of marijuana has legalized in18 of 50 US States and DC. California, Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Maine, Nevada, Hawaii, Colorado, Vermont, Montana, Rhode Island, New Mexico, Michigan, DC, New Jersey, Arizona, Delaware, Connecticut are the 18 States and DC that have legalized marijuana.
No
Yeah you can do the medical marijuana cultivation in the state on California. it been like ages since it has been legalized in there. And for the records, Marijuana has been legalized in 6 states of United States which include Colorado, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, and California. As per a blog from Brightfield Group, California is ranked #6 for best places for Marijuana/Cannabis Investment.
From the stores, because I'm guessing that if its legal its going to be sold in stores.
