We do not know when the Lord will return . No one does. We are told that only the Father in heaven knows the answer to this. But we have prophecies in The Bible pertaining to the last times and many Bible students believe the time for the Lord to return is getting near. The "signs' are telling us that the time is close, and in fact The Bible leads us to believe that the Lord can return for the saved of this earth at any time. It is time to come to the Lord, for any who do not belong to Him will be left behind when He comes. Not only that but you are not guaranteed one more day of life. You may die before tomorrow morning. You do not want to pass from this earth without knowing the Lord Jesus Christ. James 4:14, " Whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away."
Jesus Christ came to this earth to die for your sin. He took your place and your sin and offered Himself a sacrifice for your sin. He did die on the cross, was buried, and arose on the third day. If He is calling you for salvation you must come to Him.
Romans 10:9-10 tells us, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
This confession is not just an acknowledgement that He is God and Lord of the universe, because even the demons believe this. You need a deep personal conviction that Jesus actually died for your sin and that God actually raised Him from the dead.
