To give a generic answer, it kinda depends on what type of click.
If it is a rapid click-click-click-click... it is probably a dead (or near dead) battery.
If it is just one solid "click", it is probably your starter. The single click is the sound of the selinoid clicking in to try to engage the starter. If the starter is faulty, it won't engage and turn your engine over to start.
You would go to a mechanic and ask what the problem is.
Yes. It has a transponder key that if you use the wrong key it will not send the correct code to the ECM. Hence no start.
It sounds to me you are using a fuel to low in octane, either that or your timing is wrong. Try running on 95 or higher octane fuel.
It could be a dead battery.
Something is wrong with my 1991 Toyota Corolla Dx's trunk latch. It will not let me close the lid shut and it stay shut. It will not stay latched. There is nothing no obstruction. Can you help me? Thanks
A 95 Toyota Corolla engine that loses power when idling can have a number of different things wrong with it including clogged injectors, a dirty fuel filter, or fouled spark plugs. Performing a standard tune-up will often resolve this issue.
Could be the Starter or the Transmission
i might be wrong but it could be the 'bendex'. this is the part of the starter motor that disengages it after the engine turns on. it might not be fully disengaged from the previous trip. sometimes all that is needed to get it to go is to rock the car foreward or back a little. hope that helps.
Check the exhaust ignition interface. It could be a simple problem in the core module defribilator.
i have a 2007 carolla that has been fully services and the check engine light is still on. there is nothing wrong with it.. How do I get it off?
