The Secert Aquarium - Swim around to find all eight red coins. Character: Anyone

The Battle Fort - Go to the courtyard, break the bricks, then go in and Dodge the big purple Bob-Omb and grab the five silver stars in bricks. Character: Not Yoshi

? Switch - Look at the sky on the purple sun carpet, then use Mario's wings or Waluigi's Long Legs to get all of the red coins. Character: The 'Stache Stars.

Behind the Waterfall 1 - Go to Hazy Maze Cave, then use Yoshi's dad to get to the secret waterfall, then become Metal Wario or use Waluigi's Long Legs to get all 8 red coins without being blown away. Character: Wario Bros.

Behind the Waterfall 2 - Go to Hazy Maze Cave, then use Yoshi's dad to get to the secret waterfall, then use waluigi's Long Legs or Mario's Fatness to get the star in the sky. Character: 'Stache Stars

Getting 120 stars in Super Mario 64 requires dedication, hard work, and a lot of luck. Each world has 7 stars in it. You can even get the 8 red coins star in each Bowser level. You can also get the 8 red coins on the cap levels. Also be on the lookout for levels that have only one star, such as the hidden aquarium and the sky level.

Then get the secret stars in the castles, and all the red coins/switch stars in the bowser levels(the bowser levels stars are counted in the castle secret stars, making it only 30 castle secret stars). The last thing is to get 100 coins in each course, to get an extra star.

1. Grab coins. You can get a star for getting 100 coins in each level (only the main courses, not secret areas or bowser levels)

2. Look around the castle. There are 15 stars inside the castle and on the castle grounds. The Bowser levels each have 1 star (Red Coins) which are listed with the secret stars.
