In short gherkins come from neptune, and are the main form of export from the planet, they are actually an excrete from an animal species known as "Gherkunis" who produce the gherkins as a bi-product from their nostrils whilst eating.

If you have just tuned in you would know that unidentified objects are now infulltrating earth's atmosphere and oh no thwak bzzzzzzzzzzzzz coooooooo flash bang wang smash pow coo coo cazooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. The door is opening it's it's a oh no an Aaron Gurkin's!! The clown like hair is growing and growing and what is that in his pants? it looks like like like..... a gherkin? what the? Substitution seems to be the way for this race as no ones can really be that size! I guess a gherkin would feel better than whatever they usually use

That is an English word: Gherkins and cucumbers belong to the same species (Cucumis sativus), but are different cultivar groups.

Saure Gurke Means pickle in German.

Pickled gherkins are served to accompany other foods, often in Sandwiches. They were associated with central European and European Jewish Cuisine, but are now found more widely.

Hope I helped! =)

What is difference between cucumber and gherkin?

Not really. Cornichons are spiced slightly differently, and cost more. But, they're basically the same: tiny pickled cucumbers.AnswerContrary to popular believe, gherkins are not cucumbers. Gherkins and cucumbers are related but not the same plant race. This is a slight difference botanically, but quite a difference in taste and appearance. Cornichons are indeed harvested before they are fullgrown. After that they are pickled according to a French recipe. This results in pickles that are slightly less salty then the average pickled gherkin.Cornichons have more flavor, are tinier than baby gherkins. Gherkins can be substitued for Cornichons, but once you taste the real thing, it is tough to go back. They keep forever in the frige and are a tasty addition to tuna salad, devilled eggs and lots of other things.

What are some different kinds of pickles?

There are 2 general types of pickles or gherkins: sweet or sour. The tastes are created by the solution they are pickled in. "Brined" pickles get their sour taste from fermentation, as opposed to the vinegar solutions used for other pickles. Other types of pickles are kosher-type (sour or half-sour), bread-and-butter pickles (a sweeter taste), lime pickles (which may also be salt pickled), and Swedish thin-sliced pickles.

Why do you have gherkins in burgers?

Apparently, Mcdonald's put gherkins in their burger because their burgers contain so much sugar, if they didn't put the gherkins in the burgers, they would need to class them as desserts! Maybe this is the same reason everyone else puts gherkins in burgers!!
