Honda Man's If the model you are working on has the motor mount preventing the removal of serpentine belt, the mount must first be removed. The tension must be relaxed by movi…ng the spring loaded serpentine belt tensioner (denlors 3680 Serp Belt Tool makes this easier). Once the tension is released slide the belt off. A diagram of the belt routing is usually found under the hood. Reverse procedure for installation. Verify the belt is in all grooves fully before starting the engine or damage to the new belt may occur. use a ratchet to loosen the mounting bolt on the alternator and pivot it down. now the belt should be loose. slip the belt off. slip the new one on. pivot the alternator back into position and tighten the mounting bolt. to get an exact fit before loosening the mounting bolt make a mark across the mounting bolt and mount so you can line it up when tightning. Chev Impala 3.8 ltr 2000 and earlier. 1) Remove stabilizer bar, 2 nuts on each side on top of strut mounts. 2) Remove coolant recovery tank and recovery tube, crimp tube lightly with small pair of vise grips so coolant will not drain out. 3)Using a 1/2" drive ratchet with a 15 mm socket place the ratchet on the self tension pully bolt. Pull up on the ratchet as if you are trying to loosen the bolt ( pully bolt will not undo ) using enough force to overcome the torque of the tension spring. This procedure will push the pully down enough to slip of the serpetine belt. Reverse procedure to install new belt.
First you locate the tensioner pulley, which is the black plastic pulley below the alternator pulley. Then put a 15MM socket with long breaker bar and turn clockwise as …you are facing the motor. It will be hard, there is about 120lbs of pressure on it, but you will move it. Have a helperremove the old belt and immediately follow it with the new belt in the same route. Release the tension, done!
Answer go to the library and check out a chilton book. Answer 2 - No Chilton or Haynes manual exsists for 2000 (and up) Celica None that I have found yet…. GOOGLE (Image) your question. That's how I found the one for my 2000

They have online manuals you can view for free, you just have to enter the make and model of the vehicle you are inquiring about They only have generic charts just showing pulleys and lines with no parts to relate to, and not in any way similar to the relationship of the parts on the engine. At least that was the case with my '90 Suburban. Just single lines and simple circles - nothing more It was impossible to relate the cryptic diagrams to the real world and I ain't no dumy.
Relieve the tension by putting a wrench on the tensioner and then remove the belt. www.trailvoy.com all the answers for your Trailblazer from true enthusiasts!
There is a diagram under the hood on a decal
I found one from looking up a picture of the alternator. Try looking for a water pump or powersteering pump replacement picture.
The diagram is not on a decal under the hood or in the engine compartment.
instead of asking this forum where to find the diagram, try asking Google for a diagram. couldn't hurt...
This diagram is under the hood. Look for it

Attemting to change the alternator in a 2008 Chevy Impala. Have everything loose but the the rear bolt hits the firewall and will not come out. The other bolt to the rear …that holds the alternator and also a wire bundle is lose, but I didn't take it out because the housing is slotted. Do I need to take it out also? I have the side bolt out (next to the fender). There are two lines over the alternator. What do I do with those? Can't see the the elctric terminal enough to figure out how to release it. Any ideas ?
Find the tensioner, rotate it clockwise. I don't remember offhandwhat type of tool the tensioner requires for this vehicle... it'lleither be a 3/8" drive ratchet inserted dire…ctly into thetensioner, or a socket (15mm is typical of GM).
