You can get help from alot of places. If you have a abuse network where you live they will help you. Also, you first need to get a good trust circle where you can go and talk about what happen and where they can offer advice as a third person view. I'm a victim of abuse and it took me 3 years to tell anyone of my abuse and I regret not telling anyone. Alot could of been avoided if I would of told. I wouldn't of gotten in all the trouble that I got into because I would of got the help that I needed. If I was you find a good counselor, someone on your comfort level and someone you can trust. Talk to them and it will help alot. Please whatever you do please don't wait to find help. I did and it ruin my life and I'm only 18. I'm here to help so feel free to message me to talk about it.

How do you get help when you are in a very bad abusive relationship?

When you are in a very bad abusive relationship, you should use caution while building your plan to get to a safe place. Seek local resources that might be useful, including advocates that can help in putting together a safety plan and in utilizing whatever legal resources might be useful or necessary in your plan. Build your plan erring on the side of paranoia -- leaving an abusive relationship is the most dangerous time in an abusive relationship. When you have a plan, follow it, even when you're scared. It is very unlikely that anything in your relationship will change until you are in a safe place.
