After a life of service to their family and fellow man they most certainly would have gone to heaven. I think what you are really asking is "If they both sinned did they go to heaven?". Our first parents were only fulfilling a commandment to multiply and replenish the earth when they partook of the forbidden fruit. God knew that this was the only way, and he knew Adam and Eve. If you remember God gave them a choice, so in actual fact the so called sin was in fact a transgression of Gods law. How else could man have been had they not done so. We owe so much to them. They stay in heaven for eternity.

The general Christian belief is the reception into Heaven of both Adam and Eve. For example, the acpocryphal book of Sirach [aka Ecclesiasticus] describes Adam as having been blessed above all of God's creation. In the way of another example, the Eastern Orthodox Church considers Adam and Eve as among the Saints of Heaven.

Sadly, no one knows the answer. It's all based on opinion. According to the Christian Bible, Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit off the tree of knowledge. God banished them from paradise (the garden of Eden) and kept an angel at the entrance and threatened whoever dared to enter. The Bible says that God is all forgiving and merciful. He most likely forgave them, but no one has any proof. Some people believe that they went to Purgatory and still haven't come out yet, although i doubt that is true. I'm no one to judge other peoples' opinions, but if they did go to Purgatory they'd be out by now, I don't think their sin was THAT big. I also don't think they went to hell, but, again, I have no proof. They wouldn't have been able to go immediately to heaven though. Jesus had to die so people would have the opportunity to go to heaven, and he came way after Adam and Eve.

If you are desperate for an answer, I suggest you ask a priest, he'll give the best answer. I also apologize if I didn't give you the advice you wanted, I'm only a 13 year old student who enjoys religion class.

After their expulsion from Eden, Adam and Eve settled down and raised a family. In fact, the birth of Adam's and Eve's first child was the first mention of what the couple did after leaving the Garden. They had other sons and daughters, according to Genesis 5:4. But only two others were named, with the birth of Abel in Genesis 4:2 and that of Seth in Genesis 4:25. And according to the book's genealogical information in 5:3-32, Adam lived through the births of seven generations of his son Seth's descendants. He died before his great great great great great great grandson Lamech became the father of Noah of the flood. During Adam's 930 years on life, no mention of Eve is made other than to her role as the mother of their children.

What did Cardinal George Pell say about Adam and Eve?

A:In a recent televised Q&A discussion, Cardinal George Pell stated that the story of Adam and Eve is a myth, describing it as a religious story told for religious purposes. The existence of Adam and Eve is central to the Catholic doctrine of original sin, since without them there can surely be no original sin in the world. This could mean that those who have never been baptised as Christians would not carry original sin and, because of that, be denied entry to heaven. Cardinal Pell addressed this when he went on to say that in his view atheists could "certainly" go to heaven if they have led good lives.

Did Adam and Eve go to heaven?

Probably. Since Eve was given the PROMISE of a Savior to come, and she believed, and Adam as well, and the Hebrews 13:20 Everlasting Covenant that covers ALL who believe, I would like to think they were covered. Also, even though "the dead shall rise" on Judgment Day, if you read scriptures about the time Jesus came back after his crucifixion, "others" came back as well and was seen. He told the thief crucified with him "TODAY you'll be with me in Paradise". It's all a matter of faith, but I would like to think the saints of the Old Testament rose with Christ and went on to Paradise with him, NOT HEAVEN, for we shall ALL go in there together (the Great Feast, remember) and those of us who "sleep" now, shall be those who "rise" later. So, yes, They are both most likely in Paradise. Some religions say "no" because of 1 Corinthians 15:45 - 49: "So, too, it is written, 'The first man, Adam, became a living being, the last Adam a life-giving spirit. But the spiritual was not first; rather the natural and then the spiritual. The first man was from the earth, earthly; the second man, from heaven. As was the earthly one, so also are the earthly, and as is the heavenly one, so also are the heavenly. Just as we have borne the image of the earthly one, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly one." However, with even this, it hard to dismiss John 3:16, of which BOTH Adam and Eve believed would come to pass. Pure faith!
