Anne Frank's family originally lived in Frankfurt Germany. They moved to Amsterdam in 1933 when the Nazi's took over Germany.

In 1940, at the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands, the family went into hiding at their father's business on Prinsengracht, in Amsterdam. Within two years of their hiding in a small series of attic rooms, they were discovered. Anne and her sister Margot were transferred to the infamous concentration camp Bergen-Belsen, where they died of typhus in 1945.

She first lived in Holland before moving to Frankfurt, Germany. She also lived in Aachen, Germany and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. Anne and her family spend a lot of time in an annex in her Father's work place to hide from Nazi soldiers.
She was born in Germany, Frankfurt and during II World War she was hiding in Amsterdam, Holland.

Also when the Nazis invaded Holland the Frank family had to go into hiding which had to take good preparation. Into hiding wasn't as easy as said it took a good long time to prepare it. They needed things such as water-liquid, food and toiletry.
Anne Frank lived in Frankfurt, Germany during ww2. When the Nazi party invaded Frankfurt, Anne, her family, and the Van Pels went into hiding. They lived in what is called the secret annex above a work building. They were caught and taken to Westerbork on August 4, 1944. Then, a month later they were transported to Auschwitz. Anne died of TB there in early march 1945.
