Mainly, the Battles of Rheims and lifting the siege of Orleans. Like many historical characters ( like George Washington"s stopovers) there is an undeniable mixture of possibly ficitonal sites that were not actual Battle sites but mere waymarkers- as in one poem- Tours, Arles, and Domremy reply- and Joan of Arc goes riding by! This is a good poem but suffers from a frivolous tone- something like ( Happy Days are Here Again!) which is out of , well hoofbeat, with the tragic female knight.

FREEDOM!!!!
To fight for Freedom
Joan fought in the Hundred Years War.
god
Joan fought with the French against the British.
She fought against the British.
She did not fight in the Crusades but in the Hundred Years War.
While Joan was on the battle field she did not actually fight. She directed her troops.
Joan fought for the French to drive the British out of France and to restore the French monarchy.
She not only volunteered, she begged to be allowed to fight for France.
