Llanito means of the low countryside.

Thereby Andalusia which is a low compared to the rest of Spain is known as the 'low country'.

Llanito - is also a spoken language made up in Gibraltar - from Spanish, English, Maltese, Italian, Indian, Hebrew and Arabic - it changes bu being added to all the time.

It is the second language for Gibraltarians.

Gibraltar has many people living and working here from all sorts of countries including: Portugal, Germany, France, Sweden, Mexico, Peru, Chile, Brazil, Argentina to name a few so over the next 10 years parts of their language will be absorbed into the Llanito language. The only problem with this language is that it is spoken and very rarely written although some people have tried to get it written down in a dictionary form.
