Laban resided at the city of Haran in Paddan-aram, an area of Mesopotamia.
(Genesis 24:10) 10 So the servant took ten camels from the camels of his master and proceeded to go with every sort of good thing of his master's in his hand. Then he rose and got on his way to Mes·o·po·ta′mi·a to the city of Na′hor.

Laban was the uncle of Jacob who was renamed Israel
See Genesis 31:49.............the benediction as we know it is quoted there. It concerns the animosity between Jacob and his Uncle Laban.
In the Bible, Laban is brother-in-law to Isaac.
Laban.
Jacob's uncle was Laban. Laban tricked Jacob by giving him his older daughter Leah to marry instead of Rachel, whom Jacob loved. Jacob had to work an additional seven years to marry Rachel as well.
According to Genesis 27 and after, Jacob's father-in-law was Laban, who was also Jacob's uncle (his mother Rebekah's brother). I know your talking about the bible, but in Twilight Jacob's father-in-law will probably be Edward. LOL

Answer: According to Genesis chapter 29 verse 16 Laban was the father of Leah.
The Bible does not say who her father was. Her uncle's name was Mordecai.
Rachel was Jacob's cousin. Rachel's father was Laban, Jacob's uncle. (Genesis 29:10)
