AnswerThey know where they go: into the ground or up in ashes. The belief that people "go somewhere" when they die is a religious fabrication to help people accept death.

If by "go" you are asking a metaphysical question of whether they go to heaven hell or something else. They don't think so as these locations do not exist.

If you mean by "go" in a physical sense, they rejoin the carbon and nitrogen cycles, are cremated, buried or donated to science. A few might even join the visible man art displays.

Many believe the teachings of tradition that you go immediately to heaven or hell upon death. There are some who believe what the Bible actually states: we sleep after we die with the spirit in man returning to God for safekeeping and the body returning to the grave. We will be awakened to Judgment and have our spirit returned to new bodies and stand before Jesus. We will either repent and be given eternal life or refuse and receive the permanent 2nd death.
