There are several ways to go about putting a Spanish initial exclamation point (¡) into a document. For Windows OSs, one of the the more reliable is to use the Charmap utility. 1) Click on the Start menu in the lower left, then select All Programs. 2) Select Accessories » System Tools » Character Map. On some installations, Charmap (Short for Character Map) can be found in Accessories. In the Charmap window, change the font to the font you're using. Then locate the character you need. Select it. Then press Copy. Pressing Copy puts the entire contents of the little Charmap window on the Clipboard. From Clipboard, you can Paste (Control V) into any open document at the point of the cursor. You'll also notice that Charmap contains other diacritical marks necessary for a good presentation in Spanish. ¡Buena suerte!
If you're on a mac computer, go to Word and go onto symbols at the top in one of the tabs. If you are on a windows computer, search in the start button on the very left and search "Character Map" then search for the accents. Or else, change the language to French on Word and voila! Finished. These steps are for any language except Arabic

Irregular verb forms can have accent marks (such as "fuéramos" which is a form of the verb "ser.") Accent marks aren't used to show whether words are regular or irregular. The accent in "fuéramos" shows that the syllable with "e" gets the stress.
Written Spanish has certain characters that have accent marks over the standard English alphabet. These accent marks are added to reflect more faithfully the actual pronunciation of the words concerned.

Accent marks in Spanish tell the speaker where the stress should be put on the word. In this case, the phrase for "the revolution" would be pronounced "LAH re-vo-lu-see-OHN".

Yes, sometimes. Of course, not all vowels have accents. Their main purpose is to clarify which syllable is stressed. There is also a special mark (not called an "accent") that goes over the letter "n", making it an "ñ", which has a different sound.
No accent marks are used in this case.
In spanish it is "yogur", with no accent mark.
Accent marks make a big difference in Spanish. As written, the sentence means, "...if I'm working..." But if there were an accent over the 'i' in si (sí) it would mean, "Yes, I'm working."
