In Arabic, the word "bahr" means 'sea' , and the dual form for bahr would be "bahrayn". The name 'Bahrain' comes from the word "bahrayn", thus Bahrain means "two seas" .

The wind turbines of the Bahrain World Trade Center create approximately 11%-15% of the towers total consumption, that is approximately 1.1-1.3 GWh per year. And so you und…erstand how much power that is, its like creating power for 300 homes per year.
The 5--storey Bahrain World Trade Center (BWTC) was completed in 2008. The BWTC towers designed by renowned international architects and engineers, Atkins, are the first of th…eir kind in the world to use wind energy harnessed by three massive turbines, which provide 11 - 15% of the office towers' electricity needs - equivalent to lighting 200 to 250 homes for a year. The wind turbines were successfully installed mid-build in March 2007, commissioned in April 2008 and were officially certified by Bahrain's Electricity Distribution Directorate (EDD) in December 2008. The three 29 diameter turbines are now set to auto-mode meaning they are supplying power to the office towers.

In short: No . The 'Kingdom' (that should be your first hint) of Bahrain, is a "constituational monarchy", meaning that its head of state is its king. The country also has …a parliment lead by a Prime Minister (appointed by the king, rather than elected), and a "crown prince" (also appointed), who is in charge of the military forces of the country.
In short: No . Bahrain is an island chain of the cost of Qatar in the Persian Gulf. Being an archipelago, each of its 33 islands is seperate from any other land mass. In ord…er for it to be considered a peninsula, one side of the land mass would need to be connected to an even greater land mass. As this is not the case for Bahrain the answer is no.
