Go to Gaptooth Breach and zoom in as close as possible on your map. From the 'G' in Gaptooth look down to the next large rock formation indicated on the map. On your screen, about 6 or 7 inches to the right of that rock just off to the right side of the road there is a stranger sitting against a couple boulders. If you reach the broken pillar looking rocks on either side of the road you've gone a bit too far. You need to talk to the stranger to start the missions.
