The reverse light switch is part of the neutral safety switch. It is located on the left side of the transmission just above the pan. It has three wires and points towards the left rear tire.
I was told by my parts guy that the back up light switch is the same as the reverse light switch.

look where the transmission shift linkage attaches to the transmission, there should be a proximity switch there, likely the only thing with wires going to it on the assembly.
