A total solar eclipse is visible from many places the best include places that are higher than others so that you can look more directly at it note that it is horrible for your eyes to look directly at a solar eclipse so try not to look directly at it!

∙ 11y agoYou can see a solar eclipse from the surface of the earth, but you have be in the right region. The path of a total solar eclipse is a narrow strip with a width of 0-50 miles, with a partial eclipse visible either side.
On the other hand a lunar eclipse can be seen from half of the earth's total surface.
So solar eclipses seem to occur less frequently, but this is not actually the case.

∙ 13y agoIn general, a solar eclipse will be visible for a few minutes along a narrow track across the surface of the Earth. No two eclipse tracks are ever exactly the same.
