THE JOSIE LLOYD WHO APPEARED IN SEVERAL Andy Griffith EPISODES, MUST BE AT LEAST 70 YEARS OLD. THOSE EPISODES GO BACK TO 1960, I RECALL SEEING HER IN 1961 EPISODES. SHE LOOKS YOUNG, BUT OLDER THAN ME AT THE TIME, I WAS ABOUT 19 YEARS OLD. I WOULD PUT HER AT 70 PLUS AGE. SHE COULD WELL BE DEAD. IT APPEARS HER LAST FILM WAS IN 1967. STRANGE I CAN'T FIND ANY INFORMATION ON HER. I WILL TRY WEBSIDE, "FIND A GRAVE", TO SEE IF SHE COMES UP AS BEING DECEASED. I'M INTERESTED IN WHAT HAPPENED TO HER, I ALWAYS THOUGHT SHE WAS ATTRACTIVE, EVEN THO SHE WAS PROTRAYED AS "HOMELY" AND LACKING SOCIAL GRACES. SHE HAD A NICE BODY, AND ATTRACTIVE FACE AND HAIR. I'M VERY INTERESTED IN WHAT HAPPENED TO HER. According to IMDB she was born in 1940, so she would be 68 (2008) I am in complete agreement with the poster above. I was just watching 'Goober and the Art of Love' and thought how stunningly attractive Lydia (Josie Lloyd) was. It makes me laugh when Andy and Barney give a 'nod and wink' like it's understood that she's the town 'Dog'. I'd like to see her with her hair down. I bet she'd really look hot. Of course I couldn't date her because I play guitar. And we all know that 'she hates the guitar!'... LOL
