Not exactly sure where it was grown first, but the first use of Marijuana as a medicine was back in 2727 B.C. in China. So i would have to guess it was grown in china first lol. Then it spread though Europe and when Christopher Columbus came to America he brought it over here.

∙ 12y agoMarijuana originated in the Middle East (Taiwan, Korea) over 5,000 years ago... but it wasn't introduced to the u.s. until much later... i believe the Mexicans actually were the first to bring marijuana over to the u.s. back in the 17th/18th/early 19th century... i can't remember at the moment... "all Mexicans are crazy and this stuff "marijuana" is what makes them crazy" said a senator on the floor of the senate in Texas...
