on the bottom of the oil pan
Look for drain plug at rear or side of oil pan
It uses a T45 Torx bit.
The drain is located on the lower right of the radiator and is opened or closed with a screwdriver. It is a plastic plug that does not come out. The surge tank cap must be open for the antifreeze to drain.
17 mm, for sure on the 3.5 L V-6 engine (made by Honda), that's the one I have.

Well for one, if it's a manual transmission...you don't. If it's an automatic transmisson, there is a drain plug right underneath the transmission. It's easy to see. wrong. there is no plug for transmission you have to remove the pan and replace the gasket. where the transmission plug should be will be a gear box if u remove that plug u will drain gear oil. -Josh
I found this post extremely helpful when changing my oil the first time in my Saturn Vue. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t228075.html
my 2003 vue has done 251000 and still going, oil changed every 3000 miles.
i have a 2003 Saturn vue and there is no dipstick for the transmission fluid. its a plug. you have to take you car to a shop and get them to check it... i know it sounds crazy. but they usually have to put it on a lift to get to it.
I have a 4 cylinder and I just bought a fram CH9018.
The oil cooler is located beneath the intake manifold in the valley between the cylinder heads.
