invalid codeCountry code +43 is Austria, but there are no valid numbers beginning +43 0.

North American (USA, Canada, etc.) area code +1 430 is an overlay of +1 903 in northeast Texas.

(The plus sign means "insert your international access prefix here." From a GSM mobile phone, you can enter the number in full international format, starting with the plus sign. The most common prefix is 00, but North America (USA, Canada, etc.) uses 011, Japan uses 010, Australia uses 0011, and many other countries use different prefixes.)

That is not a valid international number. Country code +44 is UK, but the next digit cannot be a zero.

UK telephone numbers in domestic format include the trunk prefix 0, so, for example, Birmingham's area code is usually given as 0121, but you must drop the leading 0 in international format, giving you +44 121. Many people make a "hybrid" format for such telephone numbers, giving them as, for example, +44 (0)121 496 0123. The idea is that callers within the UK will know to dial 0121-496-0123, while international callers will know to drop the 0 and dial +44 121 496 0123. However, the format is confusing, especially for people from countries that do not use 0 as a trunk prefix. A number in correct international format should never include parentheses or brackets, or any other punctuation except the single plus symbol at the beginning, only digits and spaces.

Austria is country code +43(dialed as 00 43 from many places). Note that you must drop the trunk prefix 0 from the beginning of the Austrian number when dialing internationally.

Vienna is area code +43 1.

Mobile numbers begin with +43 6, but some landline numbers also begin with +43 6.

Numbers beginning with +43 8 are neither mobiles nor regular landlines. They are mostly special codes such as +43 800 for toll-free.

Telephone country codes never begin with zero.

Country code +1, dialed as 00 1 from many places, is North America, including the USA, Canada, and various islands mostly in the Caribbean. Area code +1 403 serves the southern part of the province of Alberta, Canada, including Calgary.

Country code +40, dialed as 001 40 from many places, is Romania.

To avoid confusion, it is best to write an international telephone number in correct international format, beginning with the plus symbol and the correct telephone country code (e.g., +1 or +40), omitting any dialing prefix.
