Oxygen Sensor
Some vehicles have (2) and some have (4) O2 sensors.
When you start looking at the O2 sensors, they are normally numbered something like "Bank 1 Sensor 1" Bank 1 is on the passenger side; Bank 2 is on the driver's side. Sensor 1 is the upstream sensor (near the frame, between the block and the cat) and Sensor 2 is near the Y-pipe (downstream of the cat).
Normally it is the upstream sensors (sensor 1) that go first. They see the harshest conditions.
You will need;
I have even used a small plumbers propane tank and heat it up and it help get them free.
Sometimes it will take 15 minutes or take a few hours it depends on your luck...
This p-code is pointing to Oxygen Sensor Bank 2 Sensor 2
Bank 2 No. 2 I think is the passenger side closer to the rear of the car.
Bank one is the driver side on a 3.7L. There will be an upstream ( sensor 1 ) and a downstream ( sensor 2 ).
P0157 02 Sensor Circuit Low Voltage (Bank 2 Sensor 2)
Trouble code P0137 means:O2 sensor circuit low voltage (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Bank 2, Sensor 1 is before the cat (closest to the manifold) towards the rear of the jeep. Your jeep should have 4 oxygen sensors; 2 before the Cat (known as sensor 1) and 2 after the Cat (known as sensor 2). Bank 1 is closest to the fron2 and bank 2 is towards the rear or firewall.
On passenger side of engine compartment. It's the first sensor before the catalytic converter. There's also a sensor right after the cat, bank 2 sensor 2, can only see that one from underneath the vehicle. These jeeps have 4 sensors total.
Its located in the right exhaust downpipe just before the mini catalytic converter. It referered to as 2/1. John
It is located just (2") above the oil filter.
Sensor 2 is after the catalytic converter.
bank 1 is the #1 cylinder side, possibly the driver side sensor 2 is after the cat converter
