It is below the seat. To get at the battery, remove the Hex bolts holding the seat, then lift it up and pull a bit backward. Next lay the CID unit aside, remove the rubber strap holding the battery in place and loosen and remove the small cable terminal bolts on the battery, beginning with the positive terminal.
