Behind the dash on the the passengers side. You can access it from the floor, on the ride side next to the right kick panel. 3 screws, one wire connector, and the disconnect the motor cooling tube, and it drops right out. You will have to pull the carpet down out of the way.
Yes. I just installed an '02 Spectra motor in my '00 Sephia.

Hi, I have a honda civic 1991 ex, the blower motor no work 1 and 2 speed
i have an 03 grand prix and yes it was the blower motor resistor also check there is a fuse for fan low and fan high or something like that
Check for a blown fuse first. If the fuse is OK, then the blower motor resistor pack or the blower motor itself may be bad.
where is neutral safty switch located on 02 spectra
The Blower motor for the E320 is located on the upper front left side of the engine directly above the water pump. The blower motor is NOT in the engine compartment! The "blower motor" above the water pump is the EGR/Smog pump, part of the emissions system. The actual blower motor for the HVAC system is under the dash, above your feet on the passenger side of the car, just remove the panel and look up. The filters are located behind the glove box (which has to be removed to access the filters). They clog and don't allow the air to blow and eventually will burn out the regulator on the blower motor itself. There are also 2 separate charcoal filters next to the blower motor under the dash that filter smog from the cabin, these are not as crucial to replace, but should be done at some point. (total of 4 filters 96-02 Eclass).
Same thing happened to my car. The blower motor and the resistor had to be replaced. It cost me . The dealer actually had the parts in stock because it happened frequently enough with the Echo that he wanted the parts on hand. If it is your problem, you may be lucky enough to find a rebuilt blower motor.
sounds like you have a bad blower motor.. i just replaced one on my 02 deville for the same reason with the same symptoms
ON THE 1993, THAT BLOWER MOTOR RESISTER BLOCK IS LOCATED LOW ON THE BLOWER-MOTOR/HEATER CORE SHROUD (OUT ON THE FIREWALL) JUST TO THE RIGHT OF THE HEATER CORE AND JUST BENEATH A PAIR OF HEATER HOSES THAT GO THRU THE FIREWALL. IT JUST MIGHT ALSO BE LOCATED THERE ON THE 2002.On the '02, it's located inside under the dash, behind a small panel, below the glove box.
