Fuse panel. This information can be found in your owner's manual. If you do not have one, then I suggest you get one. You need an owner's manual to know what items to service and when, and for specifications. You can order one from a dealer, find one at a salvage yard, ebay, or one of these sites: http://www.carownermanual.com/ http://vehicleownersmanual.com/ http://www.vintage-books.com/owncat.htm
The fuse is located in a fuse panel in the dash, on the driver's side accessed by removing the side panel that is hidden by the driver's door when shut. There is a diagram on the inside of this panel showing what the fuses are. Verify that you have the diagram oriented correctly when reading it.
The fuse for the cigarette lighter on a 1996 Chrysler LHS is located in the fuse box panel located on the side of the dash when you open the driver side door. Pull the cover off and look for 20A LIGHTER AMP HORN. I had my lighter go out as well. But when it went out, the radio went out as well as the horn. The trunk would pop open on its own. Which is dangerous when you are driving and all of a sudden it flies open. Get you a cheap fuse set at Auto Zone or Pep Boys, etc. that comes with a fuse tester. Once you replace this fuse, all other components effected by this short will be back to normal.
This fuse is ganged with something else. Usually but not allways interior lights. Could be lighter/power outlet or half a dozen things depending on trim level
the fuse is blown. they are on the same fuse
Reset switch, no. Chrysler does not have those. Fuse for the relays, yes all relays are protected by fuses.
Chrysler LHS was created in 1994.
There was a 15A fuse just behind the glove compartment on mine. Gently lever the 2 tops small bits out, the pull the 2 cylinders at the bottom. Be careful not to pull the dampener at LHS off (heard someone snapped one before). The fuse diagram is on the LHS of the glove compartment. Good luck Bill
The 1999 Chrysler LHS dashboard clock fuse can be found in the fuse box. The fuse box can be found in the engine compartment. The location of the fuse will be listed on the inside cover of the fuse box.
When my 99 LHS wouldn't start I got my starter changed and the car started.
It is in the under hood fuse box. The lid is labeled.
It is on the back side of the fuse box under the dash.
The cruise control is fed by the pcm. If the car starts there isn't a blown fuse.
A Chrysler LHS does not have a reset switch.
