Where is the fuse box in a 64 rambler?
It is under the dash on the drivers side if memory serves me well. Don't expect to find some fancy fuse box like you see today. If I remember correctly there are only 4 fuses in the whole thing. It is just a flat piece with the 4 fuses attached. Look around under the dash and you will find it.

Odometer Fuse Box Relationship That depends on the type of odometer. For example, a mechanical odometer which is driven by a mechanical cable will NOT have any connection to the fuse box OTHER than for lighting, IF the odometer has a light inside of it. On the other hand, if the odometer is of …the digital electronic type, it will, in a remote manner, be connected to a fuse which is usually a fuse designated for the "Instrument Panel." In this case, the digital odometer is usually built into/on the Instrument Panel Printed Circuit Board [PCB], and thus will be connected to the fuse box via the PCB wiring harness. (MORE)

the answer to this question is an obvious yes ------------------------ Answers to questions like this are not always obvious. I am not a mechanic, but I am sure there is a fuse in the fuse box that protects the wiring to the radio. But there may also be an inline fuse anywhere from there to whe…re the wire enters the radio. A fuse of this sort would very often, if it exists, be found quite close to the radio or associated equipment (if any exists). I would proceed by removing the radio to see if there is an inline fuse behind it. If everything is factory, a detailed vehicle wiring diagram will show whether a fuse was part of the original assembly. But this wiring diagram can be rather complicated to understand even to experienced electricians. == Sparkfighter (MORE)
