Gazelles are in the sub-family Antilopinae, the highest concentration of species in that sub-family is in East Africa, but there are species in the sun-family Antilopinae not found in East Africa and those species include the Saiga, Goitered gazelle, Springbok, Chinkara gazelle, Blackbuck, Mountain gazelle, Dama gazelle, Slender horned gazelle, Tibetan antelope, Cuviers gazelle, Przewalskis gazelle, Tibetan gazelle, Mongolian gazelle, Bates pygmy antelope, Royal antelope, and Cape grysbok. Antilopinae species found in East Africa include the Dibatag, Mongalla gazelle, Red fronted gazelle, Thomsons gazelle, Dorcas gazelle, Spekes gazelle, Gerenuk, Grants gazelle, Soemmerrings gazelle, Beira antelope, Gunthers dik dik, Kirks dik dik, Silver dik dik, Salts dik dik, Suni, Klipspringer, Oribi, Steenbok, and Sharpes grysbok
