The human body has two pivot joints. One is in the shoulders as the glenohumeral joint, and the other is in the hip as the iliofemoral joint. Other than that I do not know what else could be considered a pivot.
Pivot joints occur when a projection of one bone articulates with a ring or notch of another bone. The Atlas bone (first cervical vertebra) is a "ring" type of bone that supports the head. The Axis (second cervical vertebra) with its' dens (a tooth like projection) articulates with the Atlas to allow a rotational movement of the head.
A pivot joint can be found between the atlas and the axis. These are the first two vertebrae in the neck. A hinge joint can be found in the knee, the elbow, and the jaw (mandible).

The pivot joint in the human arm is between the ulna and radius.
The hinge joint in the human arm is between the humerus and ulna.
There are not two types of pivot joints, there are two pivot joints: one between the atlas and the axis of the of the cervical vertebrae, the second is in the elbows between the radius in the ulna.
you can find a gliding joint in maybe your skull and your spine
The base of the thumb, the first phalanx, makes a joint with a carpal bone called the trapezium, and the two articulate in a special joint called a saddle joint. You only have tow of these in your body, one at the base of each thumb.

A hinge point opens or closes in one angle direction only. A pivot joint could angle in several different directions.A hinge in your home can be found at the door. When a person opens or closes the door, that is the motion of a hinge. A hinge joint in the body is the same way. You find a hinge joint in the elbow, the knee, and the lower jaw.A pivot joint is found between the first two vertebrae in the neck and allows you to shake your head "no" or look to the left or right. Another pivot joint is found in the wrist. When you turn your hand up to to accept a coin, you are using a pivot joint.

In the shoulder and also your hip is a ball joint. A ball joint is the most mobile joints of the human body. A ball joint allows you to use your legs and arms in a lot of different directions.

A strong, complex ligament called the inter- (between) -osseous (bones) ligament, plus some blood vessels and nerves. You can find these things in the center of the forearm, between the two bones. Strong ligaments also connect the radius and ulna down by the wrist and up by the elbow.
