Its under the rear of the car (boot area) and is attached to the outside,under body of the car, it can be released by turning the large nut in the centre of the plastic rear floor panel, using the wheel brace, the nut may be covered with a filler piece, turning this nut will slowly lower the wheel ,you can then lift up the wheel and holding bracket , unhook it and let it drop to the ground, then slide off the wheel, a pretty awkward job, putting it back is even more so. ( just call the AA instead).

The Kia Sedona spare tire is located beneath the floor in the cargo compartment. The spare tire is secured by a center wing nut. Remove the wing nut and the tire will come out.
