Way up under the dash. Not for the faint-of-heart to get at. It is inside the heating/ventilation/air/conditioning - HVAC plenum.
There are a couple of ways of dealing with a failed or binding temperature blend door - remove the dash, or cut your way to it.
The instructions for getting access to it are the same as removing the heater core - at least it will get you directly in contact with it.

They are right behind the firweall in passenger compartment. You need to disconnect steering column at inner joint, then unbolt the entire console and move it slightly back, then keep the passenger side moving out till it's over seat.
