On a 1993 Audi CS 100, the thermostat is in the engine block. It is under the housing where the upper radiator hose is connected.
The thermostat housing is located on the passengers side of the engine block, behind the timing belt.
You will find the thermostat behind the cover where the thick black hose from the top of the radiator meets the engine.
I am not familiar with the Audi, but on most cars, the thermostat is at the point where the top hose leaves the engine to go to the radiator. A bad thermostat can make your car overheat. If it has not been changed since 1992 it should have been changed long ago.
It locks the rear diff, thats all
The temp sensor switch is located on the right side of radiator ,at the bottom.
You can get a starter rebuilt kit for an 86 Audi 4000 Quattro CS at auto part stores. You can also check with local salvage yards.
If cs stands for centisecond, then there are 100 centiseconds in 1 second, so divide by 100. 393 cs = 3.93 seconds.
Replace the thermo sensor...
Pull the left nob and turn it left for the hour change or right for the minutes. there are 2 nobs on the dash... it's the one beneath the clock... that changes luminosity
100%
the instrument panel deos not work all the gauges on my 1988 Audi 5000 cs
The centi- prefix means one hundredth (1/100) → 157 cs = 157 × 1/100 s = 1.57 s
