It depends on the 3D television you own. If you own a Samsung, then Samsung glasses are appropriate. Similarly for Sony and Panasonic use glasses designed for the models.
The exception is LG. Because they only produce low resolution 3D televisions, they don't need particular glasses. Any cheap throw away glasses from the movie theaters will work. Of course, the cheap ones might not be the most comfortable.
