The University Grants Commission (UGC), a statutory body of the Government of India, has already approved Lovely Professional University (LPU). Therefore, LPU does not need an approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This decision was reinforced by the Supreme Court's ruling that private colleges running MBA programs approved by universities do not require AICTE approval. If you are enrolled in a deemed university or studying in the university's campus (not in its affiliated colleges) that has been approved by UGC, then you need not worry about your course not being approved by AICTE. This is because universities are not mandated to obtain AICTE approval. I hope this information is helpful to you.

Hi, Yes, LPU is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. Here's why: **Government Website:** LPU is listed on the UGC website under the "List of Universities" section **Recognition Types:** LPU's recognition by UGC covers both their degree-awarding status and their ability to offer programs through distance education (through UGC-DEB). This recognition ensures LPU's degrees are valid throughout India for further studies or employment. I hope it helps!
