First it's the Air Force, Navy, Army, then Marines. Women do a lot more than the public thinks.
The Woman's Army Auxiliary Corps was established in the United States in 1941
I think it's Lt. Col. Victor Banjo who was comissioned NA16 in 1956. He graduated from the Royal Military College of Science (Cranfield University) with a degree in Mechanical Engineering
The fact is the number is relatively unknown and changes drastically from year to year. A relative constant is that less than 50% of all who enlist will complete their first enlistment tour. Retirement figures for total numbers of enlistment range from 10% to as low as 2%. Most surprising is that US census reports less than 9% of Americans serve in the military.
The executive branch signs bills into law, but the Legislative branch makes the laws in the first place.
Olive Branch Petition came first! Olive Branch Petition - 1775 Stamp Act - 1765
If your asking what is lest harmful to your beliefs I don't know, that is between you and God, but there is no branch of the military that puts God first, you are there to serve your country not God, if you feel bad about killing people don't do combat stuff. The military does not care about whether or not you have a religion they just care that you do your job, however if you are religious there is church and there are chaplains and such. Just do what you think is best and let God and the Bible guide you.Answer:All branches of the service have Chaplains. The military wants the troops to be stable and principled, finding that often their spiritual life enhances stability and focus.
Like all military personnel in the US, they can retire from military service after there first enlistment is over. The standard enlistment is 4 years, but sometimes the first one can be 6 years depending on the branch/career chosen. For the Marines it's generally 4 years. Military Service men and women can re-enlist and if they stay in the Military for 20 years earn a full government pension.
I had to establish residence in the US first. Foreign nationals can enlist in the US military, but permanent residence has to be established first.
Marines corps
No, it is independent of the military. It does use military people & equipment to assist. The first NASA astronauts were military pilots.
You mean taking steroids, no. As a recreational drug they won't allow it. However if you are actually taking testosterone therapy, you should have no problem providing the proper documentation and they will allow you to come in. I think you might have a better shot going reserve first and then enlist to serve full duty.
IIRC the USAF
You only need a high school diploma or GED and to be 18 to enlist. Go see a recruiter.

It all depends on the disability and the branch of service. The Air National Guard for instance can take someone who is a prior service applicant with up to a 50% disability from the VA but that depends on a lot of circumstances. If you have never served then the blanket answer is most likely not.
Having served in the military I would say "NO!" However, if you're considering a particular branch of service, contact your local recruiter and get the facts first hand.
