The plank bridge is the weakest as it is just a simple beam with no central support or stiffening for the span. The other two can be designed to comparable strength for a given span, but work in somewhat different ways: the truss bridge acts as a beam stiffened by the truss frames, the arch transmits the forces from the centre to its abutments.
