The ventricles, the lower two chambers of the heart, pump blood out of the heart. The right ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs. The left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood out to the body.
The left ventricle in your heart pumps blood to the aorta which then sends it to the rest of your body.
The left ventricle.
The lungs
Atriums? Right Atrium Left atrium Ventricles Right Ventricle Left Ventricle These are chambers is the heart with valves that pump blood into each chamber
both the superior and inferior vena cava pump the blood into the right atrium. Then, the right atrium pumps the blood through a valve, and into the right ventricle.
The right ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs.
The up right chamber of heart known as the right atrium receives the deoxygenated blood from all over the body. This blood is then passes to the right ventricle through a tricuspid valve which is then sent to the lungs for oxygenation.
The Chamber that creates the highest pressure is the Left Ventricle. It must do this to get the blood all the way around the body, including right up to the top of the heat, but more importantly it must overcome the huge pressure in the Aorta. This is because of the Aortic Valve which sits stops the blood being pushy back formthe aorta into the ventrivle. The high blood pressure in the aorta holds this valve shut tight. A pressure greater than the one holding any vavle shut is required to open it, ie the ventricular presure must be greater than the aortic pressure is required to force the aortic valve open.
the bottom chambers of the heart are the left and right ventricles and pump blood to the aorta and lungs respectively.
A robo-heart works as it does because the motor compresses the left chamber to pump the oxygenated blood out into the body. At the same time the right chamber sucks in the deoxygenated blood to fill it up. then the right chamber is compressed to pump deoxygenated blood to the lungs. The left chamber opens to collect oxygenated blood from the lungs. Special sensors detect the body's movement and changes pace of the beat.
The left ventricle is the thickest and most powerful chamber of the heart. It has to pump blood further (to the body) than the right ventricle (to the lungs).
Left Ventricle, because it pumps blood to the systemic circuit whereas the right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs.
left Ventricle ^^
Arteries carry blood away from the heart.
The left venricular chamber of the heart is responsible for pumping the blood throughout the body
You need more force to pump the blood to the lungs or the body than you do just to pump it to the next chamber. The atria pump to the ventricles. Easy. The ventricles need to pump the blood to the lungs (right ventricle) or the body (left ventricle) which calls for more pressure, hence a larger contraction wave.
It is the upper right chamber of the heart. For diagram, see Related links below.
cor pulmonale
because the left artery has to pump blood through to the body
