The United States is by far the most advanced in practically all the categories in technology. With the best people and most expertise, the US is currently the unopposed leader in computer technology, biotechnology, and energy technology etc. and although it is kind of on par with Russia when it comes to space technology, Russia generally lacks a lot of the funds to invest a lot in its space program. And China by far doing nothing but catching up with everyone else.
