There is a lot of hype these days about cheeze and certain dairy products but all in the name of good health. I am the Survivor of a heart attack and a tripple by-pass surgery so I can assure you that I darned well watch what I eat and the most important thing that I stay away from is Saturated Fat. Hmm how nice it would be to sit down and eat a bowl of hot french fries and a hot dog, unfortunately the people who make these tid bits of fries and hotdogs don't give a good darn about your health. It's called fast food and believe me, that's exactly what it is. Fast but not nutricisous. Anything in moderation is fine, but always check the labels on food that you buy even cookies as most cookie makers haven't taken the time to get off the saturated fat issue. I guess the best recommendation I can give you is, read about what you eat, before eating it.

If you are lactose intolerant you shouldn't really eat/drink any dairy products.
If I were you I wouldn't drink the bad milk in the fridge, it'll taste gross. Oh and don't eat that bad, smelly cream cheese, sour cream, or yogurt either!! More or less....don't eat any bad/over due dairy products.
If you are allergic to certain products in dairy products...don't eat/drink those either
You don;t really need to avoid dairy foods. If you have a health concern you can ask a doctor or nutritionist what is best for you. SOme people say that we can get enough calcium from other sources, like meat, fruits, and vegetables, so that we really dont need to consume dairy to have healthy bones.
