I've been singing unprofessionally since gradeschool and these are the best I've found.
Goods: water, non-caffeinated or low caffeine teas (such as green or lemongrass but drink them warm, not hot and not refrigerator cold), pomegranate juice, and pepsi (especially just before performing)
Bads: milk, cheese, yogurt, anything with caffeine(I know I mentioned pepsi and tea but tea relaxes your chords and pepsi has carbonation that helps clear away mucus if drunk cool rather than cold or warm), coffee, and anything with high sugar content (again strangely enough an occasional pepsi seems to be a good thing)
Whatever you do don't chew gum or drink diet sodas or milk the day of a performance. No matter what you're doing, singing, making a speech, or reciting a poem, use proper amplification tools, you don't want to overwork your voice.
there has been a buzz about hot chips (such as Chester's hot cheetos, hot fries, hot popcorn anything of that nature) that opens your vocal chords just enough for your words to come out smoothly and not crack. Im a singer and I've tried this before i ate a bag of hot chips before voice lessons and i did excellent at practice, when i got home ate a bag and sang one of my songs. There was no cracks,no nothing clear and nasal free. So thats what i would recommend, but i must remind not to overload because yes it improves your singing but it also causes problems with your body, so don't go crazy.
What you SHOULD drink:
LOTS of water, not hot, not cold, but at ROOM TEMPERATURE; cold water is bad for your voice
Herbal Teas at ROOM TEMPERATURE
and this isn't an official one, but apparently Gatorade is good for your voice, it's something about the electrolytes. But not any of the other ones, JUST GATORADE
Pineapple Juice is good because there are chemicals that reduce swelling in the muscles in your throat.
Apple juice! It has the same pH level as your saliva (gross right?) But it won't hurt your voice.
What you SHOULDN'T drink:
any hot drinks or thick drinks, those are bad
Tea (there are exceptions, as listed above)
Dairy Products coat your throat and stay on there for a long time
Even though some people say that hot drinks are good for your voice, most of the times it's wrong. Hot drinks are only for NON SINGERS!!! Remember that the VERY BEST thing for your voice is water at ROOM TEMPERATURE, and anything at room temperature is better thatn cold drinks. Avoid sodas, because they make your throat drier.
Most of the information above is from Helium.com
tea with honey and lemon

yes only if its pure sugar like a lollypop but if you have natural sugar like a apple it well improve your singing voice
Eating ginger helps keep your voice while singing because it is good for soothing sore throats and such. However, eating ginger does not make your voice any better for singing. The only other way to improve something, including singing, is good old practice.
If your voice is in need of a change of such dimensions, I suggest nothing short of a proper singing teacher!ÁgrafosThere is no 'good' or 'bad' singing voice. It's just do you know how to sing properly? If your asking this; probably not. Get a teacher to coach you on how.
cardamom and ginger in hot black tea
PRACTICE....PRACTICE.......PRACTICE.....also it is great to challenge your voice and to improve your vocal range
