She was also the protector of children, turning her dread eyes to creatures that might put a curse on them.

Bes, a fat bearded dwarf, ugly to the point of being comical. He is often shown sticking out his tongue and holding a rattle. When carved or painted on a wall, he is never shown in profile, but always full-face, almost unique in Egyptian art. There are also depictions of Bes with feline or leonine features. Bes is a very unusual god. He does not appear to be Egyptian at all, but where he does come from his largely unknown. His is patron of the home, childbirth, infants, humor, song and dance.

Greek:

Hera is the goddess of childbirth and family.

Roman:

Juno is Hera's Roman counterpart and vice versa.

Yes, the Greek god Pan did have children. They included Crotus, Acis, Crenaeus, Inyx, and Aegipan, but there were probably more. They came from several different mothers, mostly nymphs.
