It depends on what you plan to use it for. Assuming you hold everything else constant (processor, RAM, video card, etc.) a smaller screen will net you lighter weight and longer battery life (less screen area = less power needed to fuel it), but it will cost you screen size (obviously). If you plan to be very mobile with the laptop (taking it to classes, coffee shops, meetings, etc.) then the lighter weight and longer battery life will probably be worth more to you than the extra screen space. If the laptop is likely to spend most of it's time in the same location and plugged in, then you won't notice the loss of battery life and added weight, but you will appreciate the extra screen area when (which is especially nice if you plan to do any serious amount of gaming/video watching with it).
In short, if you plan to use it on the go, go for the 14". If you plan to use it mostly as a desktop replacement, go for the 15".

∙ 14y agoWell it depends on if you think you would need a bigger screen or a smaller one. My laptop has a 16 inch screen and I absolutely love it!! In my opinion i would personally go with the 15 inch screen because it is bigger and easier to see on. But it is your choice on what you are looking for.
