DO NOT LOOK AT THE SUN WITH A CONVENTIONAL TELESCOPE. Doing so can cause massive eye damage and blindness. Theoretically only the photosphere would be visible anyway.
Scientists can use special telescopes (such as ultraviolet telescopes) to see other parts of the sun (such as the corona).
The photosphere can be seen with visible-light telescopes, while the chromosphere is most easily observed with ultraviolet telescopes and the corona with X-ray telescopes.
A reflecting telescope.
A refracting telescope is a type of optical telescope. It was used in astronomical telescopes and spy glasses. Objective lens are used to produce the image.
In astronomy there is a wide range of equipment that can be used. Some of them are telescopes, binoculars and laser pointers. Equipments also need not be necessarily used. Being an astronomer myself, naked eye observation is my favourite type of observation. Equipments are mainly used to ether view the skies above closer such as in a telescope or to detect something that cannot be seen in the naked eye or a telescope such as in radio astronomy equipment.
Usually optical energy.
This type of telescope is often referred to as a Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, and can be short and wide. They have an eyepiece that extends at a right angle from the body, and have a disk in the middle of the lens, behind which is the mirror.

There are several possible reasons: * Your telescope may be of a low quality. * It may need some adjustment. * You may have expectations that are simply too high for your telescope type.
