The two are usually interchangeable. "A Christian" suggests that you wear the label. "Christian" suggests that you live out your belief.

I myself am not a super Christian. But really, there is no such thing as a super Christian. A person who might be considered by others to be a "super" Christian, is really just a Christian. "Christian", from the Greek, Christianos, means "little Christ", or "Christ-like". To be truly a Christian, or simply a follower of Christ, one must obey Him and follow His example, to the utmost. In other words, its the goal of every believer to be a "super" Christian.
