Only 11 raised young children (age 12 and under) there: Tyler, Lincoln, Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Arthur, Cleveland, Theodore Roosevelt, Taft, Kennedy, and Carter. John F. Kennedy, Jr. was born after his father's election but before inauguration.
Patrick Bouvier Kennedy was born on 7 August 1963 and died on 9 August 1963.

Tyler, Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Kennedy, Lyndon Johnson, Carter and Clinton all had children under 18 to support while they were in office, as does President Obama. Pierce had a young son who was killed between the time Pierce was elected and his inauguration.
Correction:
Jackie Kennedy had a baby boy while JFK was in office. The baby died soon after birth. His name was Patrick.

Grover Cleveland and his wife Frances had a daughter Esther, born September 9, 1893, during his second term in office. She was the only child born in the White House.
On August 7, 1963, Patrick Bouvier Kennedy was born to President John Kennedy and wife Jacqueline Kennedy at Otis Air Force Base Hospital in Massachusetts. The child, born several weeks prematurely, died two days later.
